Traditional New Year reception on behalf of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov for Heads of Diplomatic Missions and their spouses

On December 13, 2015 the Bolshoi Theatre hosted a traditional New Year reception on behalf of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov for Heads of Diplomatic Missions and their spouses.

Representatives from 146 countries attended the event.

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov addressed the Diplomatic Corps with congratulations on the coming New Year. His speech was followed by an informal exchange of views on a wide range of foreign policy issues.

The program of the evening also featured the ballet “Legend of love” by Arif Melikov.
