Moscow Country Club hosts qualifier of Moscow Mayor’s Golf Cup

The Moscow Country Club, an affiliate of GlavUpDK, has hosted the first stage of the Moscow Mayor’s Golf Cup. The tournament traditionally has two stages, i.e. the qualifier held at the Moscow Country Club and the finals hosted by the Moscow City Golf Club.

Seventy-four professional and amateur golf players participated in the event.

The 2017 Moscow Mayor’s Golf Cup was won by Sagyndyk Tashenov, Andrei Nepomnyashchy, and Darya Andreyeva.

GlavUpDK, including its affiliate, the Moscow Country Club, and the Moscow City Golf Federation have a long-standing partnership. A number of Federation tournaments are held with GlavUpDK’s support. For instance, all stages of the Moscow series took place on Russia’s first professional golf field –in the Moscow Country Club’s Golf Club.
