Moscow Country Club becomes Russia’s first golf resort of European Tour Destinations

The Moscow Country Club, an affiliate of GlavUpDK under the MFA of Russia, has become part of European Tour Destinations and a club, which European Tour recommends for visits by the world’s golf players. The country’s oldest golf club with Russia’s first 18-hole professional golf course is the only golf club in Russia listed by European Tour Destinations. The network comprises 28 golf resorts in 21 countries.

Golf clubs affiliated to European Tour Destinations traditionally stand high in international ratings and host international tournaments, among them the Ryder Cup and the World Cup.

The Moscow Country Club is a favorite vacation destination of the diplomatic corps. The gated community of over 120 hectares accommodates a five-star hotel and cottages.

This is also Russia’s first international-class golf club with the championship golf course open to players and learners. The Moscow Country Club’s golf club has the biggest membership in Russia.

The unique golf course of 7,174 yards, combining picturesque natural landscape with international standards, was built by the exclusive design of the U.S. dynasty of Trent Jones architects. It is deemed to be one of the best in Europe.

A beach, an equestrian zone, a mini golf, restaurants, bars, a zoo, a large sports complex with indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a gym, tennis and badminton courts, a tanning salon, and saunas are at the guests’ service.

In 2017, the Moscow Country Club became a laureate of the World Golf Award of the prestigious World Travel Awards. The countryside complex was recognized as Russia’s best golf hotel.

This year, the Moscow Country Club is competing with Russian hotels in two nominations, the Best Golf Hotel and the Best Golf Course.
