Medincenter – 70 years of impeccable work
A unique healthcare facility of Moscow, Medincenter of GlavUpDK under the MFA of Russia, celebrates its 70th anniversary on March 6. The clinic was founded in 1948 by a resolution of the Soviet Council of Ministers. It is famous for remarkable Russian specialists, advanced medical technologies, and high service standards.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov congratulated the Medincenter collective on the anniversary. “Over the years of impeccable work, Medincenter has established itself as a leading diagnostic and treatment center of Russia providing the entire range of medical services. It has won respect of numerous patients, among them employees of diplomatic missions, foreign companies, and media outlets working in our country,” the greetings said.
Medincenter currently has about 40,000 clients, citizens of over 180 countries. The center can receive up to 600 patients per day.
“The professional collective is the gem of Medincenter. It employs over 500 specialists, including merited physicians, medicine doctors and Ph.D., and specialists of the first and top categories,” the Head of GlavUpDK under the MFA of Russia, Alexey Izotov, said in his greetings.
Most specialists have worked abroad and speak foreign languages. Patients are also offered services of translators who speak English, Spanish, French, and some other languages.
Medincenter consists of a diagnostics and consulting center on the Garden Ring and a clinic on the premises of the Botkin Hospital. Lab diagnostics is provided by the Russian-Swiss company Unimed Laboratories, the first clinical diagnostic laboratory in Russia certified by international quality standards.
Medincenter employees efficiently treat their patients and render a broad range of services. They put emphasis on treating Medincenter’s clients and keeping them healthy. Medical departments feature state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment, which makes the diagnostic process highly informative and comprehensive.
