Medical Center of Russian-Japanese Friendship initiative added to bilateral cooperation plan
The Head of GlavUpDK under the MFA of Russia, Alexei Izotov, on April 19 met with Japanese Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry Hiroshige Seko who supervises economic cooperation with Russia.
The minister welcomed the addition of the initiative of creating a Medical Center of Russian-Japanese Friendship in Moscow on the basis of GlavUpDK's affiliate Medincenter to the list of projects of the Russia-Japan Cooperation Plan.
Sego said that Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe was well aware of those plans and did not rule out that the issue might be on the agenda of the upcoming summit negotiations.
The minister hailed the future signing of the "founding document" between GlavUpDK and the Japanese partner company on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok in September 2018 in furtherance of the agreements reached in Tokyo on April 17-19.
