In 2014 GlavUpDK has repeated its success winning the Moscow Restoration Competition held by the Moscow City Government

2014 has been marked by a new victory won by GlavUpDK in the Moscow Restoration Competition annually held by the Moscow City Government. GlavUpDK has been awarded the prize for the best project aimed at preserving and promoting objects of cultural heritage in Moscow.


Traditionally, the competition attracts participants from restoration and design workshops, engineering and construction organizations, as well as owners and tenants of recently restored Moscow buildings from the list of cultural heritage objects.

This year, the Department of Cultural Heritage of Moscow has reviewed 73 applications submitted to this prestigious competition referring to 28 objects of cultural heritage.


GlavUpDK was announced prize-winner in the category “Mansions of the City” for the best organization of repair and restoration works on the site called "The main building of the mansion (Igumnov House), the late 19th - early 20th century, designed by architect Nikolay Pozdeyev”, located at Bolshaya Yakimanka Street, 43, building 1, which currently houses the residence of the Ambassador of the French Republic to Russia.  


On December 1, 2014 Mr. Sergey Sobyanin, the Mayor of Moscow, presented an honorary diploma to Mr. Pashko, head of GlavUpDK, in the White Hall of the Government of Moscow (Tverskaya Str. 13) at a ceremony held in honor of the winners.
On December 3, 2014 at a prize-giving ceremony held in the Main Conference Hall of the Moscow City Government (Novy Arbat Str., 36/9), Mr. Cheryemin, Minister of the Moscow City Government, head of the Department of Foreign Economic and International Relations of Moscow, presented to GlavUpDK the award of the Moscow City Government for winning the Moscow Restoration Competition 2014. In his speech, the Minister emphasized the significance of the enormous work done by GlavUpDK to restore objects of cultural heritage.
