Delegations of Organizations Providing Services to Diplomatic, other Foreign Missions in Foreign Countries Visited Moscow on August 25-27, 2016 at Invitation of Russian Foreign Ministry’s GlavUpDK

Delegations of organizations providing services to diplomatic and other foreign missions in foreign countries were in Moscow on a visit on August 25-27, 2016 at the invitation of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Main Administration for Service to the Diplomatic Corps (GlavUpDK).

The leadership of the Dipservice General Directorate for Servicing the Diplomatic Corps and Official Delegations of the General Affairs Department of the President of the Republic of Belarus, the Vietnamese Foreign Ministry’s Bureau of Diplomatic Corps Services, the Kyrgyzdipservice State Diplomatic Services Enterprise of the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan, the Government Agency for Servicing Diplomatic Missions under the Mongolian Foreign Ministry, the Tajikdipservice State Unitary Diplomatic Corps Service Enterprise under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Tajikistan, the Diplomatic Services Department under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as a delegation of the Inpredservice St. Petersburg State Unitary Enterprise for Foreign Mission Services under the St. Petersburg government’s committee on foreign relations (GUP Inpredservice) arrived in the Russian capital.

Representatives of the “related” organizations on August 25 attended a gala reception on the occasion of the 95th anniversary of GlavUpDK at the Reception House of the Russian Foreign Ministry. The heads of the delegations expressed gratitude to the GlavUpDK leadership for the invitation to visit Moscow and warmly congratulated the Russian colleagues on this remarkable date in the history of the Main Administration.      

On August 26, a conference on important issues of the provision of services to diplomatic and other foreign missions during which the delegations’ members were briefed in detail on the results of the Main Administration’s activity in recent years, was held at Moscow Country Club – a branch of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s GlavUpDK. An exchange of views on a broad range of issues was held: from the terms of leasing out office and domestic premises, from hiring personnel for embassies, provision of medical and recreation services to the problems of the diplomatic corps’ getting acquainted with the country of stay. Based on the discussion results, all the conference participants unanimously expressed the intention to develop bilateral and multilateral cooperation.

The guests also familiarized themselves with Moscow Country Club and the Zavidovo Recreation Complex, saw the professional 18-hole golf course in Nakhabino and took part in the events of the XVIII Summer Diplomatic Games in Zavidovo.
