Architecture of Diplomacy All-Russian Creativity Competition
Main Administration for Service to the Diplomatic Corps plans to hold the Architecture of Diplomacy All-Russian Creativity Competition among young artists from 18 to 35 years old. The competition will be supported by the Union of Russian Artists, the Union of Architects of Russia, the All-Russian Center for the Development of Artistic Creativity and Humanitarian Technologies, and the Union of Restorers of Russia.
The competition jury includes Director of the All-Russian Center for the Development of Artistic Creativity and Humanitarian Technologies Oksana Goncharova, Editor-in-Chief of Moscow Komsomolets Pavel Gusev, Director of the Information and Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Maria Zakharova, Chairman of the Union of Russian Artists Andrey Kovalchuk, Chief Architect of the Central Scientific Restoration Project Workshops Sergey Kulikov, Deputy Head of the Painting and Restoration Department of the Saint Petersburg Stieglitz State Academy of Art and Design Mikhail Rogozny, Acting Head of the Main Administration for Service to the Diplomatic Corps Vyacheslav Fatin, Director of the Moscow Museum of Modern Art Zurab Tsereteli, Rector of the Moscow Architectural Institute Dmitry Shvidkovsky, President of the Union of Architects of Russia Nikolai Shumakov.
The competition is held to unleash the creative potential of young and emerging artists. It will become a platform for drawing the public attention to the historical and cultural aspects of the diplomatic service, and will introduce the names of young Russian artists.
Any painting or graphic techniques based on the facilities of the Main Administration for Service to the Diplomatic Corps are accepted, including unique Moscow mansions - recognized masterpieces of world architecture, intended as a priority for accommodating diplomatic missions.
Professional artists and amateurs, students at secondary professional and higher educational institutions - bachelor, specialist and master students, students at colleges and other creative course and schools can become participants.
Submit an application to pressa@updk.ru before July 1 to join the competition.
Entries will be accepted from July 1 to August 15.
The winners will be determined from August 16 to September 1.
