“Moskovsky Komsomolets” gazette and “Russkoe Iskusstvo” magazine tell about the exhibition “Harmony of Contrast” opened on March 27 in the Cultural Center of GlavUpDK, where the works of two artists are presented – our fellow citizen Tatiana Kharitonova and Portuguese Teresa Gonçalves Lobo. The opening of the art exhibition was accompanied by a concert, where the diversity of Russian and Portuguese cultures was presented – from Russian choir singing and Portuguese fado to ballet and contemporary variety (presented by a singer from Cape Verde with Russian roots Solange Cezarovna).

As the   Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Portuguese Republic to the Russian Federation Mário Godinho de Matos noted: “Despite the vast distance between Russia and Portugal, the culture is a bridge between our countries”.

The exhibition is supported by the P.M. Tretiakov Charity Fund and Portuguese Fund of Multilanguage Schools and will take place until April 24.
