GlavUpDK presents special issue of its Russia. Heritage magazine dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War

GlavUpDK has presented the 3rd, special issue of its Russia. Heritage Magazine uniting keepers and connoisseurs of the richest cultural and historical heritage of our country.
The year of 2025 as the year of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War is of exceptional importance for the history of Russia. President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin declared this year to be the Year of Defender of the Fatherland.
On the occasion of the upcoming anniversary, the special issue pays tribute to the memory of all those who fought for our Motherland at the cost of their lives. The pages are a chronicle of heroism written with veneration and gratitude to the Generation of Victors.
Personal stories are in focus in this issue—behind each of them are the destinies of people, their unbending will and selfless devotion to our Motherland. In his welcoming speech to the readers, Head of GlavUpDK under MFA of Russia Vyacheslav Fatin shared the military story of his grandfather, Dmitry Fatin.
Readers will discover some unforgettable moments coming to life, namely the history of the great triumph, rare archival footage of the 1945 Victory Parade and majestic memorials that immortalized the feat of our heroes.
We will tell you about the grandiose revival project in Nizhny Novgorod, which was included in the top 15 priority restoration list in 1945. The restoration, which is still going on today, not only revives the lost historical sites, but also embodies the strength of spirit that unites Russia’s people.
