Architecture of Diplomacy International Competition winners awarded in Nicaragua and Georgia

In 2025, the Main Administration for Service to the Diplomatic Corps (GlavUpDK) under the MFA of Russia received over 300 projects from 14 countries for the 4th Architecture of Diplomacy Open Creative Competition.

The official awards ceremony took place on August 25 at the House of Reception of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. However, not all awardees were able to attend the event, though the awards found the winners.

On September 7, at Marshal Zhukov Military Training Center in Managua (Nicaragua), the award was presented to Adelita Steinsen Báez. Russia’s Chargé d’Affaires in Nicaragua Vyacheslav Levchik presented the winner with the diploma and commemorative gifts; he also wished her success in her studies and creative endeavors. The event was attended by employees of the Russian Embassy in the Republic of Nicaragua, the Office of the Military Attaché of the Russian Federation, and the Russian House in Managua.

On September 9, Anna Mari Asoyan who won the 4th Architecture of Diplomacy Open Creative Competition visited the Russian Interests Section in Georgia to have received her diploma from Section Head Dmitry Olisov. The latter emphasized the importance of such international initiatives for strengthening intercultural ties.

The award winning projects can be viewed both online and offline at the Architecture of Diplomacy exhibition, which is running on Gogolevsky Boulevard (near building No. 12). Visitors are welcome until September 15.

Until September 19, the winners’ paintings will be on display in the 1st floor lobby of the MFA central building at 32/34 Smolenskaya-Sennaya Square.
