2025 Diplomatic Rally Unites Vintage Car Enthusiasts

September 20 saw the 3rd Diplomatic Rally with more than 30 legendary car models from the Gorky and Volzhsky Automobile Plants, in addition to contemporary cars showcased at the site near the MFA Skyscraper on Smolenskaya-Sennaya Street. Held for the third year in a row, the event ran under the auspices of the Gorkyclassic Automobile Historical Society with the support of GlavUpDK under the MFA of Russia.
This year it offered a larger program as participants took a drive through the historical center of Moscow and visited the House of General Ermolov, a cultural heritage site of federal significance at 20 Prechistenka Street.
The rally crews then traveled to GlavUpDK’s Zavidovo Recreation Complex in the Tver Region, which hosted the Car Elegance Awards. GAZ M-20 (Pobeda) took the 3rd place. GAZ M-21 (Volga) was the 2nd place winner, and Moskvich-407, which arrived at the finish line first, won the 1st place award with 34 votes.
