The branch of GlavUpDK “Moscow Country Club” on September 13 through 15 have successfully hosted international contest “Russian Open Golf Championship (Senior)”, which was highly appraised by the professionals and was extensively covered by printed and electronic mass media.
Managing Director of “European Senior Tour” Andy Stubbs have sent a letter to GlavUpDK and “Moscow Country Club”, where he thanked them for the high level of contest, hospitality to sportsmen and their families.

This is the second largest event in the European tour. And we highly appreciate the efforts of the organizers, quality and level of preparedness to contest”.
After the championship, one of the participants, a professional golf player Paul Wesseling, who took ninth place in the contest, has sent a letter of gratitude to the director of GlavUpDK Vladimir Pashko, where Mr. Wesseling noted:
“This was a great week. The event was held at the top level. Golf field is in the perfect condition, excellent for the game and the pleasure is fantastic.
“Moscow Country Club” golf club provided excellent opportunities for playing golf, and the guests were very welcome there.
During the championship, the club employees paid great attention, responded to all our requests and were eager to help with anything.

Ian Woosnam, a captain of the European team at the Ryder Cup Championship also told the words of gratitude to all representatives of GlavUpDK. He described the contest as “excellent” and expressed his eagerness to return next year to “Moscow Country Club” for “European Senior Tour”.
