Leadership of the first day of the tournament in Nakhabino captured 50
-year-old Englishman Simon P Brown and Spaniard Miguel Angel Martin ( 51) .
Brown began the round with a birdie on the first hole Nahabinskogo field and
was able to spend an entire round under full control . He made two more
birdies on the front nine and added three instrumentals on the second , not
allowing a single bogey . Final score – 66 strokes ( 6 under par ) and
first place in the standings.
Spaniard Miguel Angel Martin after three Patov on the green of the first well
able to cope with them and making seven birdies with a total result of 66
( –6) caught up with Brown and also led the first day of the tournament
Russian Open Golf Championship (Senior).
51 – year-old native of Madrid finished in the top three seven times in
his last four starts on the Senior Tour. He finished second two weeks ago at a
stage in Woburn.
