I became a fully qualified British PGA Professional in 1992, during this time
I have worked at many different levels and gained a wide variety of experience
in the golf industry, I have always continued my education keeping up to date
with the latest methods and ideas, whether this has been through attending
different seminars or researching different topics myself.
Experience
My different roles have included, Club Professional, Head оf Academy
Instruction, Director Of Golf & Head National Coach, I have held these
positions in several countries, England, Wales, Germany, Cyprus & Russia,
I am currently working at Elea G.C Cyprus as Head Professional/Operations
Manager. For the last 18 years, my main focus has been mainly on coaching,
whether it's a total beginner or a seasoned Professional. I am fluent in
German, and am able to speak Basic Russian.
Philosophy
My philosophy is not to Coach one exact method, the main reason for this is that
every person is an individual and my job as a coach is to adapt to that person
to find the best way of improvement for them, I like to keep the training as
simple as possible.
I always use certain drills to help eradicate faults quicker, I use video
& launch monitors to give a visual and clear picture of what it is we are
trying to acheive. After the lesson, each person also receives a report of their
progress from me, this will also include either a video or a snapshot of their
swing.
I am very passionate about coaching which normally rubs off on to students and
make the lessons most importantly a lot of fun for everyone.
