The Zavidovo Recreation Complex, an affiliate of GlavUpDK under the MFA of Russia which marked its 60th anniversary last year, is famous for hospitality traditions. High service standards are appreciated by both guests and the professional community. Zavidovo employees are winners of professional contests.
In particular, they have won the Best Tourism Industry Professional award of the all-Russia Tourism Industry Contest held by the Federal Tourism Agency since 2013. Four Zavidovo employees were named the best tourism industry workers in the Tver region.
One of them, Alexandra Glushenkova, 2nd class employee of the Marketing and Sales Service, was declared the best inbound and outbound tourism manager. Alexandra, who speaks English, has been working in Zavidovo since 2007. Clients love her amicable and creative attitude to corporate events. Glushenkova has been declared an employee of the month multiple times.
Alexandra will represent the Tver region in this nomination of the all-Russia Contest and compete for being named Russia’s best.
Irina Golubeva, an administrator of the Marketing and Sales Service, ranked third in the nomination “Best Reception and Accommodation Service Professional.” Irina started working in Zavidovo in 2008 as a switchboard operator. Her diligence and responsible attitude did not pass unnoticed by the superiors. Now Irina Golubeva is interacting with guests and doing her best to make their vacation in Zavidovo comfortable and memorable.
Maids Olga Bakulika and Viktoria Ignatyuk ranked second and third, respectively, in the nomination “Best Cleaning Service Specialist (Maid).” Guests appreciate the neatness and hard work of Olga and Viktoria.
A commission of the Tver Regional Tourism Ministry including industry experts processed the applications. The jury said that professional skills of the contestants had improved, especially in the reception, accommodation, and cleaning nominations.
The organizers believe that the contest helps identify the best professionals and raise the prestige of the hospitality industry. The contest’s popularity is growing: the number of applications filed for contesting in the Tver region has grown by 40% compared to the previous years.
The winners will receive their awards at the 2nd Tver Tourism Forum on September 27, 2018.
