On February 4, 2016 GlavUpDK under the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the New Names Charitable Foundation hosted a musical soiree devoted to the upcoming professional holiday of diplomatic service employees — Diplomat’s Day. Heads and employees of over 90 diplomatic missions with their spouses, senior officials of the Russian Foreign Ministry and other Russian officials attended the reception.
Mr. Pyotr A. Efanov, acting Director General of GlavUpDK, congratulated guests on the holiday of national diplomacy which is celebrated in Russia and Russian embassies abroad.
The program of the soiree offered a special holiday gift for the guests — a performance of Denis Matsuyev, People's Artist of Russia, and scholars of the New Names Charitable Foundation which is a long-standing and effective partner of GlavUpDK.
Denis Matsuyev introduced to the public the Foundation’s scholars — A. Malofeyev (piano), A. Kardonov (tenor), Ye. Seselkina (violin), I. Mikhailov (violoncello) and V. Ivanov (piano).
