A delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan led by Tajik Ambassador Imomudin Sattorov has paid a visit to the Main Administration for Service to the Diplomatic Corps (GlavUpDK) under the MFA of Russia. The delegation included Mansur Khakimov, the Director of the Tajikdipservice State Unitary Enterprise, and Tajikdipservice employees.
There was a working meeting with GlavUpDK Head Alexey Izotov and heads of several divisions of the Main Administration.
The sides conferred on the prospects of cooperation between the two agencies, which support the activity of diplomatic corps in Russia and Tajikistan.
Sattorov underlined the meeting’s importance. “Russia and Tajikistan have a long-standing close economic and humanitarian relationship. It is our mission to support and develop fruitful cooperation between the two countries,” he said.
Tajikdipservice Director M.D. Khakimov noted the value of the expertise accumulated by GlavUpDK over nearly 100 years of its existence. “We are interested in GlavUpDK’s experience, and we are hoping to learn a great deal from our Moscow colleagues, so I have brought my team here with me,” he said.
For his part, Izotov also expressed interest in cooperation and the exchange of practices. “Tajikdipservice was founded in 1997 already in a market environment, hence your experience is of special interest to us as well,” the GlavUpDK head added.
The signing of a memorandum of cooperation and interagency interaction was a keynote event of the meeting. It is due to promote the expansion of bilateral relations on a stable and lasting basis. The document stipulates the elaboration and implementation of joint projects, cooperation in the field of tourism, and joint events, including professional development of employees.
At the end of the meeting, Sattorov thanked GlavUpDK, an organizer of the Embassy World Cup of this September won by the Tajik Embassy team, for a wonderful weekend at the Zavidovo Recreation Complex on behalf of the Tajik Embassy’s football team. “The Recreation Complex and quality service made a very good impression on the team members,” the ambassador said.
The two-day trip of the Tajikdipservice delegation to Moscow will include familiarization with the specifics of the activity of GlavUpDK and its affiliates, and visits to the Russian Foreign Ministry’s Reception House, the Medincenter affiliate, the Dobrynya multifunctional residence, the New Zealand Embassy’s mansion on Povarskaya Street, which is under renovation, and the mansion of O.P. Korobkova on Pyatnitskaya Street.
