A delegation of Chinese healthcare professionals and the Shenguo medical center based in the city of Dalian visited Medincenter, an affiliate of GlavUpDK under the MFA of Russia, on September 7. The delegation was led by Chairman of China’s Liaoning Healthcare and Family Planning Commission Wang Danan.
Medincenter Director and top-category physician Vladimir Prokopenko, MD, informed the colleagues of the clinic’s capacities. They were given a tour of Medincenter’s services most interesting to China, such as acupuncture, leech therapy, phyto-therapy, and some others.
The sides discussed issued related to the healthcare system in Russia and China. A special emphasis was placed on standardized medical assistance based on folk medicine and some of its types broadly used in China.
The Chinese delegation demonstrated a keen interest in the program of reproductive technologies implemented by Medincenter specialists with the government’s support.
The sides agreed to continue cooperation in a number of areas.
