Branch of GlavUpDK “Medintsentr” took part in International Symposium “Urgent matters of rehabilitation medicine, sports medicine, physical therapy, balneology and physical medicine” that took place on 09.28.2013 through 10.05.2013 in Lugano city, Switzerland.
Lidia Shimuk, head of the physical medicine department of the therapy section of “Medincentre” gave a speech at the symposium named “Comprehensive program for rehabilitation of patients with limb injuries at the outpatient stage”. The speech demonstrated the extensive experience of the experts of “Medincentre” in combination of active surgery and advanced methods of the modern traumatic surgery at the stage of recovery and rehabilitation with application of physical factors, physical therapy and massage, which hastens the process of consolidation of bone tissue, brings vegetative and trophic processes to norm and provides real opportunity to completely recover motor functions of the patient.
Symposium participants have visited the leading clinics of Lugano: “Cardio Centro Ticino”, “ARS Medica Clinica” and “Istituto Auxologico Italiano” clinic in Milan, where they learned about the principles of work of rehabilitation departments and shared experience.
