Aleksandra Murugova, winner of the Architecture of Diplomacy creative competition, receives her award on Cyprus

This year, the fifth Architecture of Diplomacy competition by GlavUpDK under the MFA of Russia received a record-breaking number of applications: over 600 entries by artists from Russia and 36 other countries.

On August 26, the Reception House of the MFA of Russia hosted the award ceremony for the winners. Those who have won the award but did not get a chance to take part in the official ceremony, are now receiving their honors in the cities and countries of their residence.

On September 25, Yevgeny Dyomin, Director of the Russian Science and Culture Center on Cyprus, handed a commemorative diploma and presents from GlavUpDK over to Aleksandra Murugova, a resident of Sotira village. The presentation ceremony took place as part of the Russian-Cypriot Cinema Days hosted in Nicosia on September 25 and 26.

Aleksandra's work titled 'Matryoshka Doll, the Symbol of Unity of the Peoples of Russia' was among the five winners in the 'Young Artist' category.
