Adopted the law on regulatory aspects of labor of foreign employees in Russia

The Federal Law dated December 1 2014 No.409-FZ "On introducing changes to the Labor Code of the Russian Federation and article 13 of the Federal Law "On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation" related to regulatory aspects of labor of the employees being foreign citizens or stateless persons".

The document is intended to improve the mechanism of work activities carried out by foreign citizens or stateless persons in the RF.
Particularly, the new law extends the following: the list of documents subject to be submitted by labor migrants when concluding employment contracts; the list of information which must be included in an employment contract with a foreign employee; the list of grounds for suspension from work of a foreign employee; the list of grounds for termination of employment contract with a foreign employee. It also stipulates the obligation of a foreign employee or a stateless person to provide a voluntary health insurance agreement (policy) when concluding employment contract, or to submit to the employer a labor permit, patent, temporary residence permit or permanent residency, as well as to include the information about the mentioned documents in employment contract.
