On Saturday, November 26, 2016, Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel hosted the 28th Winter Charity Bazaar of the International Women’s Club of Moscow (IWC). A total of 56 embassies took part in the bazaar this year, and the event was attended by around 4,000 visitors. The guests could purchase at the bazaar the traditional crafts products, Christmas toys and souvenirs, jewelry, cosmetics, handbags, shawls, scarves and hats, porcelain and pottery, as well as pastries, sweets, tea, coffee and wine. The event’s cultural program in which Russian and foreign professional and amateur groups presented songs and dances of different regions of the world aroused much interest.
IWC President, the Republic of Slovenia Ambassador’s wife Mrs. Victoria Seligo expressed her gratitude to the bazaar participants and sponsors for the support of the club’s major charity event.
Continuing the tradition of longstanding close cooperation with the International Women’s Club, the Russian Foreign Ministry’s GlavUpDK actively promoted the Winter Bazaar. The Russian stand, organized by GlavUpDK, featured jewelry items made by Russia’s best artists and jewelers that enjoyed great success among the bazaar guests.
The International Women’s Club will direct all the funds raised at the Winter Bazaar, the same as in previous years, for the support of charities in Russia.
