GlavUpDK under MFA of Russia supports annual Historical and Cultural Heritage Days
The Historical and Cultural Heritage Days annually organized by the Moscow Government, which, according to established tradition, were supported by the Main Administration for Service to the Diplomatic Corps (GlavUpDK under MFA of Russia) ended in the capital.
This year, architecture connoisseurs were able to visit unique mansions housing the embassies of Armenia, Belarus, Brazil, the Vatican, Egypt, India, Qatar, and Turkey. GlavUpDK under the MFA of Russia expresses sincere gratitude to the diplomatic missions for the opportunity to take tours around related embassy buildings and for thee comprehensive assistance they have provided.
Excursions were also held in General Ermolov’s Mansion at 20 Prechistenka Street, which today is used as the main administrative building of GlavUpDK under the MFA of Russia.
This year the program was expanded to include AR tours. The organizers also invited to use one of GlavUpDK’s projects in this area, a mobile application called “Getting Inside the Mansion”, which offers a virtual tour to see the interiors of Zinaida Morozova’s Mansion on Spiridonovka Street.
GlavUpDK under the MFA of Russia will continue to tell Muscovites about architectural masterpieces under its management through next-gen technologies, while illustrated books, virtual tours around the mansions, etc. offer ‘walks’, in particular, around the buildings occupied by diplomatic missions.
GlavUpDK invites everyone to visit the website Cultural Heritage Sites to learn about the history of unique Moscow mansions and admire their magnificent interiors.
